1. Definitions
“Studio” refers to Streetlight Studio. “Client” refers to the individual or business purchasing services. “Project” refers to the agreed website design and development work. “Deliverables” refers to the final website and associated assets.
2. Services
Streetlight Studio provides website design and development services for service-based businesses.
All services are delivered according to predefined packages (SwiftFix, Harbour, PrimeFlow, Atelier), unless otherwise agreed in writing.
No services outside the defined package are included unless explicitly confirmed.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, client websites include basic search engine setup so the finished website can be indexed by Google. This may include page titles, meta descriptions, sitemap and robots files, and basic Google Search Console submission support where client access is provided.
Streetlight Studio does not guarantee search rankings, traffic levels, or specific SEO outcomes.
3. Project Scope
The scope of work is strictly limited to the selected package and any written agreements made before project start.
Out-of-scope requests include but are not limited to additional pages, feature expansions, design changes beyond initial direction, and third-party integrations.
All out-of-scope work will require a separate quote and timeline.
4. Payment Terms
- Full payment is required upfront before any work begins.
- All payments are non-refundable once work has started.
- No files, previews, or deliverables will be released before payment is completed.
In the event of chargebacks or payment disputes, Streetlight Studio reserves the right to suspend or remove website access, disable hosted services, and pursue legal recovery of funds.
5. Project Timeline
- Standard delivery timeframe: 7–14 working days.
Timeline begins only when payment is received and all required client materials are provided.
Streetlight Studio is not responsible for delays caused by missing or incomplete information, client response delays, or changes in direction.
6. Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to provide accurate business details, service descriptions, contact information, and any requested content.
The Client is solely responsible for content accuracy, legal compliance, and ownership of provided materials.
Streetlight Studio is not liable for legal issues arising from client-provided content.
7. Revisions & Change Control
Each project includes a limited number of minor revisions.
Minor revisions include text edits and small visual adjustments.
Major changes include layout restructuring, design direction changes, and new features or functionality.
Major changes are not included and will be charged separately.
Streetlight Studio reserves the right to reject excessive revision requests and define what qualifies as minor versus major.
8. Delivery & Acceptance
A project is considered delivered when the website is presented for review or goes live.
If no feedback is received within 5 days, the project is considered accepted.
After acceptance, additional changes are treated as new work.
9. 14-Day Launch Guarantee
The Client receives 14 days of post-launch support.
Includes bug fixes and minor corrections.
Excludes new features, structural changes, and additional pages.
After 14 days, all work is chargeable.
10. Ownership & License
Upon full payment, the Client receives ownership of the final website.
Streetlight Studio retains ownership of internal frameworks, systems, and reusable components.
The Client is granted a license to use the website for their business only and may not resell the website as a template or replicate the structure commercially.
11. Portfolio Rights
Streetlight Studio reserves the right to display the project in its portfolio and use screenshots for marketing purposes.
12. Third-Party Services
Streetlight Studio is not responsible for hosting providers, domain registrars, or external platforms and integrations.
Any issues related to third-party services must be resolved with the provider.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Streetlight Studio shall not be liable for loss of profits, loss of business, data loss, or indirect or consequential damages.
Total liability is limited to the amount paid for the project.
14. Indemnity
The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Streetlight Studio from any claims arising from client content, legal disputes related to the website, or third-party complaints.
15. Termination
Streetlight Studio may terminate a project if the Client becomes unresponsive, behaves abusively, or repeatedly violates scope.
In such cases, no refunds will be issued.
16. Force Majeure
Streetlight Studio is not responsible for delays caused by events beyond control, including system failures, internet outages, or natural events.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
18. Modifications
Streetlight Studio reserves the right to update these Terms at any time.
